One of the most common questions we get when someone tours a model home is, “What paint colour is this?” The right paint colour has the ability to completely transform a space, and for the Fernwood Model at Vista Hills, we wanted a palette that felt warm, timeless, and welcoming. For this home, we selected all Benjamin Moore paint colours. It’s our preferred paint supplier because of the depth and versatility of their colour palette, allowing us to create spaces that feel intentional and timeless.
Throughout the main living areas, we chose Wind’s Breath (OC-24). It’s one of those colours that seems to adapt beautifully to its surroundings—soft, warm, and understated. It creates the perfect backdrop for natural materials, layered textures, and the lived-in feeling we always strive for in our homes.
For the trim and millwork, we paired it with Simply White (OC-117). Rather than creating a stark contrast, Simply White offers a softer transition that keeps the palette feeling cohesive and relaxed while still allowing the architectural details to stand out.
In the primary bedroom, we selected White Dove (OC-17). We wanted the space to feel calm and restorative, and White Dove brings a softness that instantly makes a room feel more serene. It’s a colour that feels equally beautiful in morning light and in the quiet moments at the end of the day.
For the guest suite, we introduced High Park (467) on the accent wall. This soft green adds just enough colour to create interest while maintaining the home’s overall neutral palette. Paired with warm wood tones, creamy whites, and natural textures, it creates a guest space that feels comfortable, inviting, and thoughtfully designed.
